Why dating apps are causing you more harm than good

Only

Would you choose a house you have seen a picture of without visiting it?

Probably not, because you need to walk around, feel the space, take in the atmosphere, notice how it makes you feel.

For the same reasons we can not choose a partner from a catalogue of pictures without exploring in person.

Let’s face it most people don’t have the skills to market themselves correctly and that’s why I am here to help.

Endless swiping, basic messaging, chats that dont go anwhere is no good for your health, it’s wasting your time, your energy, and the way you see dating.  I am sharing with you an easy fix, a four step guide to REAL connection.

  1. In your first message introduce yourself, say why you found that person interesting and what you would like to get from the connection, ie – I would like to get to know you.
  2. Ask them something open ended that has a bit of originality, ie – I see you are from Leeds how are you finding living in London?
  3. Develop the connection by asking what they like to do in their free time and one life goal yet to be accomplished  – develops depth and makes it personal.
  4. Suggest a phone call to see if you get along – keep it open, light and friendly, your intention is to see if you enjoy chatting and if you do then suggest meeting in person.

The rest is down to you and of course you can book your one to one coaching calls with me to help you get the most out of your dating and relationships.
